Toronto Police Services have notified York Security of a reported armed robbery at 11.20pm last night (6 December) on Sheffer Terrace south of Assiniboine Road. Two males approached a York student and demanded his personal belongings. The suspects took his coat, wallet, and cell phone. No physical injuries were reported.
The suspects were described as male between 18 and 20 with skinny builds; they were last seen driving off in a dark coloured car.
York Security has increased security patrols in the adjacent area on campus.
