York Security Services is assisting Toronto Police Service (TPS) in the investigation of a reported sexual assault on campus.
On Wednesday May 22, 2013 at approximately 8pm, York Security Services were made aware of a sexual assault that had occurred on the third floor of the Scott Library.
The complainant reported that the suspect approached her, shook her hand, asked for a cigarette, touched her leg and then left. The suspect then returned, re-introduced himself and tried to hug the complainant. She pushed him away and he left the scene.The suspect then returned for a third time, asked the complainant for her phone number and tried to kiss her hand. She shook her hand free and left the library.
