A man who was standing outside the main entrance of Vari Hall on Thursday, August 9, 2012, was robbed of his cell phone at approximately 8:30pm.
The victim, who is not a member of the York community, reported the incident to Toronto Police Service after following the suspect off campus. York Security is assisting police with the investigation.
The suspect is described as:
· Male, black, 25-26 years old, 6’1” to 6”3”in height, 170-180 lbs., muscular build, with messy hair, wearing black pants and a black tank top.
