Security Bulletin – Reported Indecent Acts – 26 October 2015

York Security Services (YSS) has received reports of a suspect who has been seen performing indecent acts near the location of Assiniboine Road and Sentinel Road in the village. These incidents were seen occurring on two separate dates in the early morning hours of Tuesday, 20 October and again on Friday, 23 October 2015. Toronto Police Services have been contacted and are investigating.
The suspect was described as male, medium complexion, 5′ 8″to 5′ 10″, average to heavy build, short black hair, short beard, wearing grey or brown pants and a black top.

Security Bulletins
Security Bulletins are issued with regard to incidents that occur on or near York University property when:
• a serious incident has occurred and there is a risk of recurrence; and/or
• there is a pattern of recurring, but less serious incidents (such as thefts or robberies); and/or
• a Security or Police investigation will be assisted by bringing forward witnesses and information.
When an incident represents an immediate threat to the physical safety of persons at the University, there would be an immediate communication to all or to the affected parts of the University following the protocols outlined in York’s Emergency Plan and related procedures, employing the push notification on the Mobile Safety App, the LCD screens, and the emergency PA system.
