York Security Services (YSS) are assisting the Toronto Police Service (TPS) to investigate a reported robbery that occurred north of the Student Centre by Stedman Lecture Halls on 16 March 2015. A student reported that at approximately 8:35 p.m. he was approached by two males who asked him for a cigarette. They began to assault him and were joined by a third suspect. Two other suspects were also present. The student reported the theft of cash and other personal items. Minor injuries were sustained. The suspects left the scene proceeding west on Campus Walk.
All five suspects were described as being approximately 6’ in height, one of whom was noted as heavy set (approx.. 300lbs) with a goatee.
