Reported Assault with a Weapon in Village South of Keele Campus
York Security Services (YSS) is assisting Toronto Police Service (TPS) in the investigation of an assault with a weapon that occurred in the Village south of York’s Keele campus. The incident was reported to YSS late on 12 February 2015. Between 2.30am and 3.00am on Tuesday, 10 February 2015, a male student was approached by three males at the intersection of Cook Road and Kidd Terrace. The suspects pushed the student to the ground and assaulted him with a weapon causing an injury to his leg. No items were reported stolen. TPS were called and attended the scene.
The suspects were described as male wearing dark clothing and were last seen leaving the scene in a silver or grey mini-van with a sliding door. The vehicle was driven by a fourth individual.
