At 9:50p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, York Security Services (YSS) and Toronto Police Service (TPS) responded to a reported armed robbery. Two male York University students reported that at approximately 9:40p.m., while walking between the Goldfarb Centre for Fine Arts and the Atkinson Building, two male suspects approached them and demanded their coats. One suspect produced a knife and hand gun, while the other produced what appears to have been a stun gun. When the victims screamed, the suspects fled and were last seeing running south along the east side of the Atkinson Building. No personal property was taken and there were no reported injuries.
YSS is assisting TPS with their investigation. Both YSS and TPS have increased patrols on campus.
Suspect Descriptions:
The first suspect was heavy set and was wearing a black coat, jeans and a ski mask.
The second suspect was dressed in blackand was wearing a ghost mask.
